Bleached indigo Mountain Wind Parka from Nanamica's THE NORTH FACE PURPLE LABEL collaboration project.
Based on the famous mountain parka design but updated with a slightly oversized, contemporary fit, and crafted from a traditional style 65/35 cotton/nylon outer "weather cloth" shell. The cotton yarn used in this blend is indigo dyed and makes up the warp, while the weft is made from recycled nylon fibers. The finished fabric undergoes a bleach wash before fabrication. Retro details abound, such as the yellow beige contrast taffeta hood lining and black leather toggle fasteners on the neck cord.
