The nonnative x ECCO ECOHIKE GORE-TEX® Boot is due for an exclusive release to Japanese stores, COVERCHORD and VENDOR on March 26th 2022.
A collaboration between nonnative and the Danish footwear and leather goods brand, ECCO, the ECOHIKE GORE-TEX® is a high-performance all-weather trekking boot with a high specification and some unique features.
Crafted in Portugal and available in two colorways; Beige and Charcoal, the ECOHIKE looks to be an outdoor/urban crossover shoe; equally at home out on tough mountain trails or stomping around the city on rainy days.
The upper is equipped with a breathable and waterproof GORE-TEX® membrane, and uses premium suede leather produced using sustainable DriTan™ technology. The Michelin-developed rubber outsole demonstrates safe anti-slip properties and grip even in the mountains and on rough roads.
A FLUIDFORM™ arch support maintains the arch along the unevenness of the sole, and the PHORENE™ midsole provides excellent cushioning and energy return. The PROSOMA heel cup, which is eye-catching as a design accent, wraps and protects the heel area and eliminates heel shake which is known to help reduce fatigue during long-distance trekking.
